Why Éclairity?

To help you find your spark, gain clarity, and be lit up from the inside out. 

Again. For the first time. Or in new and lasting ways. 

Whether you're feeling restless for something 'more', but not sure what it is; 

or struggling to figure out your 'next' in school, work, or creative pursuits;

or maybe trying to find deeper meaning & purpose in this particular season; 

knowing what your 'true north' is and how to follow it in today's world

I founded Éclairity to help you do just that:

To be inspired to live your fullest, most meaningful life today.

To ask the deeper questions that will enlighten and guide you to it.

To forge the path and take the steps to get you there.

Not 'one' day or 'some' day, but right here, right now, 

with who you are and what you want crystal clear and lighting the way. 

Not only will this make a difference in the quality of your life,

but it will for those around you, too.

 Because when you courageously say "Yes!" to your true name being called,

it gives hope, opens possibilities, and inspires courage in others to do the same,

and the world becomes a better, brighter, more beautiful place because you did.

Doing this work brings joy and meaning to my life, as well, as I use 

my own strengths and follow my calling to help you

Éclairity

From/ éclair (n) / French / "lightning"; "spark", from esclairare,

 "to illuminate"; and Latin clarus, "to make clear; find clarity."

I love hearing people's origin stories - whether the origin of their name, their dream job, what got them to where they are today - you name it, I love to learn about it. So, for those of you who share my curiosity for curious beginnings, here's how I came to the meaning of éclair, and how it became essential to the name of my nonprofit dream. 

Once upon a time (in 2010) in a land far away (Orlando, FL), I was eating a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate éclair at my local pastry shop, when the French chef unexpectedly popped from behind the counter to ask, "Mademoiselle, do you know the meaning of the word 'éclair'?" 

I paused, caught off-guard and, quickly trying to swallow my mouth full of creamy decadence, I cleverly quipped, "Delicious?!" "Non!" he replied sharply, his French impatience with my American humor tempered only by the fast twinkle I caught lighting his eyes. And then, with a lowered voice weighted in the reverence of ancients, and eyes that were clearly sparkling, he put his hand on my arm and stepped closer, revealing, "It means... lightning!" My eyes widened immediately as I comprehended its meaning, my insides sparking and surging to greater life: 

I was eating lightning!!  

My unquenchable love for these little bolts of blessing made so much more sense now: 

Each and every bite of sweetness was lighting me up, 

from the inside out, 

with immeasurable power!  

I would never eat another éclair again without remembering and feeling the magnitude of possibilities now at my disposal... unlocked in one ordinary afternoon, by one 

extraordinary chef who chose to share a moment of insight and joy.

That experience hung with me for days, making me think

what-if thoughts and why-not wonderments. 

What if that could really happen? 

What if we could eat lightning and be powered up from the inside out? 

Why couldn't there be some soul-fueling, heart-starting, spirit-igniting something that could change our perspective and charge up our lives? 

And why couldn't it be as sweet and satisfying as a chocolate éclair? 

A week or so later I was putting the final touches on my business/nonprofit idea, trying to think of the perfect name that would capture what I hoped to bring to my readers and clients. 

And just like that, in a whisper from Synchronicity and confirmation from Destiny, 

the name came to me: 

Éclairity. 

I jumped online to look up the etymology and confirm that what I'd been told was true...

and what I found was so much more than gone-in-a-second 'lightning'.

I found affirmation that this name, and the work I would do, was meant to be, 

given to me for all who want to see their brightest truth 

and possibilities come to life now, and for eternity.

It is my hope that as you read my writings, or we share in group-meets, or work together to discover the treasures of you and of a life lived fully, that you will indeed find your spark - your passion, purpose & strengths, and an embracing of all life has waiting for you - so that your world, and the possibilities for which you are wired, will light up like lightning in the sky, 

making your path forward clear and bright with clarity, purpose, power, and light.
